OIC High Level Conference on Public and Private Investment

At the invitation of the Turkish Government, a Delegation led by HE Alamine Ousmane Mey, Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Personal Representative of the Head of State and comprising, HE IYA Tidjani, Ambassador of the Cameroon in Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative of Cameroon to the OIC; HE Victor TCHATCHOUWO, Ambassador of Cameroon to Turkey, Mr. Hamadou Bello, Project Manager No 1 in the Cooperation with the Islamic World Division at MINEPAT took part in the High Level Conference on Public and Private Investment of The OIC held in Istanbul (Turkey) from December 8 to 9, 2019.

The aim of the conference was to create an important winning platform between the public and private policy-makers of the ICO to put in place recommendations that will enable its member countries to achieve a dynamic public and private dialogue with a view to ” increase intra-ICO trade flows.
In the margins of the work and as part of the strengthening of the economic partnership between Turkey and Cameroon, H.E. the Minister granted several audiences to personalities from the public and private sector of Turkey in particular:

– Mr. Arda Ermut, President of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey-
– Mr. Nail OLPAK, President of the Council for Foreign Economic Relations (DEİK)
– Mr. Mitat YENIGÜN, President of the Association of Turkish Builders Accompanied by Mrs. Aygen YENIGÜN, President of the Turkey-Cameroon Business Council
– Mr. Mehmet Zeki GÜVERCİN, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Commission for International Relations and Foreign Trade of the Association of Industrialists and Independent Businessmen (MÜSİAD)
