From 14 to 17 December 2019, around thirty young people from various horizons from Cameroon represented their country at the 3rd edition of the “World Youth Forum” which was held in Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) under the leadership of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt AbdelFattah El Sisi.
The “World Youth Forum” is a platform set up by promising young people. It conveys a message of peace, prosperity, harmony and progress to the whole world. It mobilizes young people around the world in an enriching setting, allowing them to exchange views and recommend initiatives to decision-makers and influential figures to make the world a better place.
During this event, Cameroon shone culturally with a musical performance by artist Wazih NJI CHO, during a session of the “World Youth Theater”. He also shone on the intellectual level through Sidoine Felix LEUDJIE alumni of the African Presidential Leadership Program (APLP), who was not only a panelist during the workshop “Prospects of Sustainable Development in Africa: Opportunities & Challenges”, but also speaker at the closing ceremony of the said event in the presence of HE AbdelFattah Al Sisi.
Cameroonian youth have returned home more determined than ever to be the change they want.
